Mission

Florida State Chapter of the A. Philip Randolph Institute. – is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that is dedicated to the memory and work of our founder and the founder of the modern American civil rights movement , pioneer Asa Philip Randolph (1889-1979). The objective of the Florida State APRI is to play a key and unique role in the strengthening of the African American labor alliance for democratic, political, social, cultural, and economic change, to participate fully in all levels of the American political process; to train Black labor leaders; and to organize the unorganized.

Our broader mission is to improve the lives of all of Florida’s Working Families through the power of partnership, education and support, by organizing chapters throughout the State of Florida.
